| Course Description |
This module provides an understanding of basic concepts of computer systems and computer applications.
After successful completion of this module, students will be able to:
-discuss the use of computers in various sectors,
-explain how the Internet works as a platform for applications,
-assess the suitability of software applications for various tasks,
-describe the functions of various components of a computer system,
-use administrator tools to accomplish simple tasks,
-discuss ethical issues related to the use of information technology,
-describe the tasks involved and tools used in developing system.
