Course Detail

Course Title  Real Analysis
Course Code  SM 2206
Credit  4
Semester Offered  2
Duration of Courses
Degree  Undergraduate
Programme  Bachelor of Science
Course Description  The aim of this course is to introduce the algebraic, order theoretical and topological concepts of real analysis, to investigate continuity and differentiability of real-valued functions and to establish a rigorous approach to the Riemann integral. On completing this module, the student should be able to describe the analytic properties of real functions and sequences, including convergence and limits of sequences of real numbers, the calculus of the real numbers, and continuity, differentiability and related properties of real-valued functions.
