| Course Description |
This course covers the methodologies of numerical analysis. The aim is to introduce students to a mathematical tool that is an alternative to analytical methods and is commonly used for problem-solving n applied mathematics, engineering mathematics and the physical sciences.
On completing this module, the students should be able to identify the effectiveness and suitability of each numerical method depending on the problem. Students will be given projects involve use of the software Mathematics or WinXPP to test their comprehension and knowledge of the various algorithms.
