| Course Description |
The main contents of this module will be a review of structure and function of enzymes, vitamins, hormones, nutrition, intermediary metabolism and an understanding of the mechanisms by which they are regulated; cellular control together with essential chemistry, including molecular structure and reactivity, bonding, chemical equilibria and kinetics and metabolic regulation. They will also study the metabolism of macromolecular precursors, pathways for extracellular signals and review aspects of nutrition.
