Course Description  After successful completion of the lecture part of this course, students should be able to: • demonstrate a solid knowledge of bonding, hybridization, resonance, physical properties, isomerism; • apply the knowledge for predicting the physical properties and mechanisms of organic reactions; • describe in detail the concepts, theories and the application of spectroscopy in organic chemistry; • utilize the concepts and understanding of spectroscopy in organic structure determination. After completion of the practical part of this course, students should be able to: • utilize the basic techniques and apply the concepts in research.
