| Course Description |
This module aims to provide in-depth understanding of traditional industries in Negara Brunei Darussalam in socio-economic context. At the end of the module, students are expected to be able to elaborate on the definition and concept of traditional industry in the context of Brunei’s society’s socio-economy; give details of the development of traditional industries in Negara Brunei Darussalam; make comparison between traditional industries in Brunei and in the region; produce reports related to the traditional industries in Brunei in socio-economic context; and analyze factors contributing to the progress and backwardness of Brunei’s traditional industries as well as the issues faced by traditional industries of Brunei’s society.
