Aims/ Objectives/ Rationale :
This module emphasizes the importance of the science of pharmacology in nursing and midwifery practice. It provides students with the knowledge and understanding on the pharmacological processes, drug effects, side effects and toxic effects. Students will apply evidence-based practice, explore the cultural and religious aspects, the legal and ethical aspects of pharmacology and demonstrate ability to calculate drugs and give health advice on the drugs given.
