Course Description | The main aim of this module is to study the gendered dimension of development in the global south through examining the cultural diversity of gender roles and identities, and the social and economic changes in relation to social security and welfare. The module also explores the theoretical approaches to gender and development and debates relating to the broader issues of development, globalization and social changes. |
