Course Description  This module is designed to give students a good foundation in costing methods, recording and cost analysis. It deals with the role of Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment. The students will be able to understand the importance of an effective costing system to give accurate cost records for management to make important decisions such as pricing strategy. Furthermore, this module explains cost behaviour and the importance of setting budgets as these are important tools for managers to make decisions for the success of the organisations.
