Course Description  This module aims to introduce students to the concepts and definitions of resources and development, to understand the relationship between development and resources as well as the spatial patterns of development and their underlying spatial processes. The module will also enable students to identify and analyse the socio-economic and geopolitical consequences of the spatial inequality of resources. Along with these aims, students will also be taught the concept of sustainability with regard to development and resources, and be able to analyse development and resources problems from a geographical perspective.
