| Course Description |
This module aims to expose students to major figures and issues within Islamic philosophy. Far from being an exclusive course dealing with only philosophic issues students would be exposed also to present day issues that are prevalent in the environmental, ethical and social challenges. It is hope that by the end of the course the students would have an overview as well as an explicit view of Islamic philosophy’s responses to modern day issues which are within their own diverse fields.
