Course Description  Through the media, we are constantly made aware of economic issues that are currently facing Brunei such as price increases, diversification, investment, trade, unemployment and poverty but what does it all mean? This module is not designed to provide students with extensive economic theories. Instead, a number of industry practitioners will give lectures and lend discussions on some of the specific topics. Upon completion of the module, students therefore are expected to acquire some understanding of the major economic issues and challenges that are facing Brunei today and to possess the ability to read critically and interpret articles on economic issues using PBL approach.
