| Course Description | This module introduces students to fundamental concepts and current approaches to the analysis of spoken and written discourse. It provides students with ample opportunities for empirical work: the collection and recording of data; the analysis of some of the more common genres of spoken and written discourse; and, the presentation of research data in a currently acceptable form. |
