Course Description  The aim of this module is to introduce the student the aspects of art history, appreciation, and practice of visual arts. The selection of such aspects will be based on the study and practice of areas of visual arts, offered by fine art module. In the first phase of the course, the students will be familiarized to the disciplines of art such as painting, drawing, printmaking, and photography. It also includes Art History, which covers the Western, Asian and Islamic art history. This exposure will strengthen the students’ grasp of conceptual and theoretical aspect of visual arts. The drawing course will provide students with skills and perception through observation and research. Practical studio courses will familiarize student with varieties of media and different kinds of drawing tools, material and equipments.
