| Course Description |
This module is designed to give students basic skills for communication in Filipino (formerly known as Tagalog). It is an integrated course with equal emphasis on the four skills of reading, writing speaking and listening. The aim is to introduce learners to the pronunciation, vocabulary and basic structures for simple conversations on predetermined topics. At the end of the module, learners should be able to carry out different permutations of simple dialogues and participate in informal conversations.
