| Course Description | The module involves students in the study of plays as literary texts. This course also analyzes performances and/or film adaptations of plays as interpretations of the written text. The selected plays will draw on comparisons and contrasts between classical and popular, Western and Asian. Students will focus on selected plays that show the development of drama in the English language, as well as the changes in forms and styles across time and space. |
