| Course Description |
This module aims to introduce students to a range of ways of thinking about film and literature in a variety of relationships to each other. It aims in particular to familiarize students with two such possible relationships between literature and film: the adaptation of literary texts into the medium of film, and film itself considered as a form of literature. Through the in-depth study of many examples of literature in print and on the screen, the course further aims to develop students’ advanced literacy skills.
