The module is concerned with the way in which public authority is organised. It draws on literature available on organizations and analyses how it applies in the public sector. It examines the way in which public organizations operate and are managed. The module also aims to distinguish the differences between the public organizations and corporate, business or community organizations. The module draws on theoretical constructs and applies them to regional and local aspects to enable students understand the nature of public organization in Brunei Darussalam.
