| Course Description |
This course continues the experiential sequence in design that was developed thin the previous Engineering Design modules.
The design projects in this module link with the Electronics and Instrumentation course taught concurrently. The uses of LabView will be enhanced and Matlab will be introduced. Sensors and sensor circuits will be examined and used, Analogue to Digital devices and digital signal processing techniques using LabView and Matlab will be studied. A major design project will occupy the final six weeks of the module to include contributions from other modules on control, marketing and economics.
By this approach the core design themes are further developed.
