| Course Description |
Aims:
This module aims to equip students with a mix of skills in computer programming using C as the vehicle of instruction. The module will use examples which are relevant to the other modules covered in the programme, in particular the use of the microcontroller in the Engineering Design 1 module will be emphasised.
After completing this module students will be able to:
· Know the syntax of the programming language C
· Be able to use an integrated design and development environment to create, debug and execute software programs
· Be able to analyse computational problems to develop a suitable solution algorithm
· Be able to convert the algorithm into a C program
· Program the microcontroller in C to meet the requirements of the module Engineering
