ASEAN in Today’s World 2019

About

AsTW is a two - week international program focusing on ASEAN and East Asia, designed for university students from around the world, co-organized by Kyushu University and University of Malaya in cooperation with Ateneo de Manila University, Mahidol University, Vietnam National University, Hanoi & Fukuoka Women’s University.

This Program has 2 Academic Components 

ASEAN Studies Courses (AS) – 2 credits:

• Current Affairs of ASEAN and East Asia; or

• Food and Environmental Issues in Asia; or

 

Multi-culturalism in Asia Asian Languages & Culture (ALC) – 2 credits

• Basic Malaysian Language & Culture (for Beginners); or

• Basic Japanese Language & Culture (for Beginners); or

• English as a Communication Tool in the ASEAN context

 

Field Trip & Homestay

• Visit to places in the city

• An overnight trip to the historic state of Melaka; and

• Trips to various scenic traditional and historical sites in Malaysia.

• English
